Supplemental practice only
ReadyFern provides supplemental practice activities for selected K–5 math, phonics, and spelling skills. It is not a school, teacher, required curriculum, or professional assessment. It does not replace a parent’s judgment, a teacher, professional assessment, or any required curriculum.
A parent should review each pack, answer key, and explanation; supervise when appropriate; and decide whether the activity fits the child’s needs. If a child’s learning needs are a concern, speak with the child’s teacher or an appropriate qualified professional.
Content may need correction or adaptation
Practice packs are generated from the child profile and selected skills. The current code includes rule-based math with programmatic answer checks and phonics/spelling examples from a structured set. Even with those checks, wording, examples, answer keys, difficulty, or grade fit may be incomplete or mistaken. Review the work before relying on it.
ReadyFern does not promise a particular learning result, skill mastery, grade-level alignment, or suitability for every child.
Use of generative AI
The math and phonics/spelling generation flow in the code reviewed for this draft uses app rules and stored examples. It is not currently connected to an external generative-AI model for creating those packs.
OWNER REVIEW REQUIRED: if an AI content provider or AI-generated activity is added, update this notice to describe what information is sent, which provider is used, and how parents can make an informed choice before that feature is enabled.
